I love sketchbooks. The small size means ideas move quickly. If you have one with you then it becomes a habit to open it up and while you’re thinking you’re drawing or writing. It’s like having a conversation with a professional, who is always available, charges nothing and is always ready to listen. Eventually they give you the answer you need, and you realise you had the answer the whole time, you only needed to find it
