Faces

The faces of those we love are the kings and queens of content. People passing in the street, not so much. I am always amazed by how difficult it is, initially, to know someone’s true thoughts.

Some people’s true identity can be hidden even from themselves, yet it lives boldly on the surface of their face.

Imagine if you could glean from an apple or a bird the same emotional range that the human face can display. Occasionally we hear an expert describe incredible details about their field of expertise and suddenly our world grows majestically.

I sometimes think trees tell an epic story.
