2023
This series began in early 2023, during an emotional low. At the time, all I could manage was to sit quietly with a lead pencil and a small piece of paper, working for hours.

The intricacy reflects a kind of fragility—an inward focus without the energy or confidence for larger formats. I returned to the familiar language of abstraction. These drawings became more fluid and organic.

I became deeply engaged with graphite—its softness, layering, and the subtle greys that polish into the paper. I was drawn to how light plays on these shifts and how detail invites quiet attention.

Though small, these drawings are full of movement. Their forms unfold with a visual rhythm that draws the eye to wander and return
